參考 worst case scenario, crowns and dentures

In theory what happened in America should never happen here as there are regulatory bodies which should prevent these problems in the UK.

"But the truth is, if the situation isn't addressed then it is only a matter of time before there is a similar case as in the States. We've watered down all the rules in such a way that you could drive a bus through them.

PR先用”loose and wide”說明,再更正:「rules watered down are no longer "tight", so loose and wide between the rules that a bus could be driven through in the space between the now loose and "wide-spaced" rules.

(順便問了GOOGLE姑姑, 有各式各樣 a bus could drive through 的玩意呢)

The Honest Merchant of Herat

末段 spent four ingenious days persuading me to buy them.「花了四天、用盡辦法說服我買下」
