.....至於「挑戰」一詞,採用思果的說法,該詞在中文大概已算是「入了籍」;如果不這麼譯,恐怕還會被人質疑。但我想我們應該注意的是,中文本身有豐富的表達方式,我們不要被「翻譯體」弄得詞彙貧乏,言語無味。


英國首相特瑞莎‧梅(Theresa May)本來想要動用行政權中的王家特權(royal prerogative),在不經過國會表決的情況下,啟動脫離歐盟的過程。然而想要推翻英國脫離歐盟公投結果的民間團體——自稱「人民的挑戰」(People’s Challenge)——募集款項後,向高等法院提起上訴,導致上述的判決。
