我的電腦竟然有：Basile's Lo Cunto de li Cunti, 2 vols., Bari [1925]. The paper on Basile in Saggi sulla Letteratura Italiana del Seicento, Bari [1910] did not yet use the term. The English translation by N. M. Penzer, introducing the Pentamerone of Giambattista Basile, 2 vols., London [1932], conflates the two pieces.) Baroque thus seems victorious in Italy.
